A message from the Community Chess Club:

We remember very well the great enjoyment Ed had playing chess with the club on Wednesday nights. Ed was a fine chess player and always exhibited the best sportmanship in a game. For a while, players like David Worl and Ray Licata would bring Ed to the chess center from Shore winds nursing home. Ed was fond of playing the Colle System, a popular 1. d4 chess opening. He will be missed.
